Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao: (Telugu: కల్వకుంట్ల చంద్రశేఖర రావు; born on seventeen Gregorian calendar month 1954), well popularly far-famed and abbreviated it as KCR, is that the 1st and also the current Chief Minister of the Indian state of Telangana,. he's the president of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, a Regional Party in Asian nation.He is a Member of the assembly (Telangana) from the Gajwel body of Medak District in Telangana. Previously, he served because the Member of the assembly (Andhra Pradesh) from Siddipet and conjointly because the Member of Parliament from Mahbubnagar and Karimnagar.He took oath because the 1st Chief Minister of the new state of Telangana on a pair of Gregorian calendar month 2014.

Political career

Congress Party

KCR started his career with the youth Congress party in Medak district.Under the leadership of Sanjay Gandhi tho' congress was during a unhealthy position he stood with them. later he joined telugu desam party junction rectifier by NT avatar rao.

Telugu Desam Party

KCR joined the TDP in 1983 and contested  against A.Madan Mohan and lost that election. He won four consecutive Assembly elections from Siddipet between 1985 and 1999. From 1987-1988, he worked as Minister of Drought & Relief in N. T. Ramarao's cupboard. In 1990, he was appointed as TDP caller for Medak, Nizamabad and Adilabad districts. In 1996, he worked as Transport minister in Chandrababu Naidu's cupboard. He additionally served because the deputy speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly from 2000-2001

Telangana Rashtra Samithi

Personal life

Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao is married to Shobha and has 2 youngsters. His son, K. T. Rama Rao, may be a lawgiver from Sircilla, Karimnagar district, Telangana and is that the cupboard minister for IT & punchayet rule Departments. His girl, Kalvakuntla Kavitha, is M.P. from Nizamabad, Telangana . His nephew, Harish Rao, is MLA for the Siddipet body and is currently the cupboard minister for Irrigation, Legislative Affairs and selling within the Telangana government. KCR has nine sisters and one elder brother.KCR has smart command over languages telugu,english,urdu and hindi.

Controversy

In September 2014, A three-member committee of the Press Council of Asian nation headed by Rajeev Ranjan Nag command AN inquiry against Telangana Chief Minister Rao.This was when the Chief Minister's alleged comment that if journalists insult Telangana culture or if they fail to salute the Telangana folks, then he would
break the necks and bury underground media persons.

The committee detected proof from over 100 folks, most of them journalists. In Oct 2014, the committee directed the Chief Minister to infuse restraint and refrain from creating provocative remarks against journalists. In its findings, the committee noted:
